[2-7]  18” Hilda Baby, the idealized child by Kestner, and possibly the favorite baby of all times. The molding on this particular one is really spectacular, the coloring and painting as well as the crisp first out of the mold casting. Her original Christening clothes are extraordinarily beautiful. Very long, with lace inserts and ruffles bodice as well as the flounced bottom. In addition, the most adorable sweater ever, surely made years ago by a doting grandmother, it’s a treasure.

[2-8]  9” Spectacular All Bisque Simon Halbig #886 Black stocking, in outstanding antique green faux leather trunk, with wine trim. An oval design of brass nail heads, and a brass handle graces the cover the decorative, nail heads are repeated on the strips of wine. The original paper, lines the trunk that holds her comfortably, along with some really great vintage clothes, extra undies, a velvet jacket, skirt and three extra dresses. Most 886’s are pretty, but she goes the extra mile, four tiny teeth, beautifully painted bisque, two strap brown shoes, and the dearest facial expression.
