[4-2]  10" fully articulated Kestner #143.She is an outstanding example of this particular mold, and was featured in an article in ADW many years ago about my collection of these little 143's.  She wears darling vintage clothes, an adorable dress of net ruffles, with a teeny tiny antique broach at the neckline, original undies, old stockings, and precious replacement shoes. Her straw bonnet is beautifully enhanced by old lace, and pleated satin, lining the brim.  Her features are exquisitely painted.

[4-3]  19" Portrait Jumeau. captivating vision of breathtaking beauty. Her mesmerizing blue spiral eyes, with mauve shadow on upper lids, magnificent bisque, beautifully painted features, an 8 ball body in its original finish, and last but not least her fabulous costume .The dress of delicate pale turquoise vintage silk, the front panel alternate shirring and fine antique lace, which is repeated on the removable jacket. She wears her original undies, gorgeous original mohair wig. Last but not least, her chapeau as the kids would say " to die for”, the straw bonnet front brim covered in heavy embroidered lace, and testamentary type appliqué enhanced by a white Ostrich feather. Simply exquisite. She carries her antique, beaded bag, with much presence.

[4-4]  Spectacular 10” rare large Kestner, all bisque in extraordinary vintage clothes, is truly a beauty. Her enchanting lace dress is exceptionally fine with tiny re-embroidered lace medallions just above the ruffled hem. She wears lacy old panties and petticoat. Her captivating straw bonnet trimmed with a delicate organza ruffle along the brim and accented a lovely pesamentari medallion. Her low boots have minuscule buttons up the sides, as well as a heel. But most important, the face, her compelling large brown sleep eyes are outstanding, along with artfully drawn lips that barely expose a row of teeny tiny teeth. She carries her little silver purse with aplomb, this little lady is definitely party bound.

[4-5]  Dip baby in chair 9 ½” inches of joy. This closed mouth glass eyed little imp, called a DIP, was made by Swain & Company, Germany circa 1910.  Totally relaxed in her very own chair, she is wearing her original clothes including undies. The dress a lace trimmed delight with a hand embroidery on the yoke.  The darling bonnet, a crochet cap over her mohair blond wig, covering this appealing little face.  She won't give up her little bear, it goes with her.

[4-6]  15” K Star R 117 in outstanding vintage clothes. The face of this handsome young man is outstanding .The molding and painting of his features incredibly beautiful and precise, the clothes are fabulous, a lightweight tweed coat, the unusual pants and blouse beautifully executed and darling checked cap, all vintage in wonderful condition. Flawless bisque of course, along with a mint body. This little guy was a family treasure and surely one of the most beautiful examples of this Mein Liebling mold. He's fabulous

[4-7]  25” circa 1860 China head. Body a very fine vintage replacement of the rare Lochman type, with articulated knees, and exquisitely done leather arms. Perfect high quality shoulder head with exposed ears magnificently painted. Her dress and undies are original, the apron like guimpe over her original dress, and undies, is beautifully made, my guess is by a loving grandmother.  She wears her vintage heart with much presence. Just think of the aura she would give to a room

[4-8]  Adorable 12” Kestner Oriental  243, I just love these little Guys ,and have had some darling ones, but finding one this size ,in wonderful original clothes along with his precious toy in its original clothes, is a real coup. I just want to cuddle him all day. He has beautiful bisque and exceptionally lovely coloring and painting of his delicate multi stroke eyebrows, super fine lashes and a fine black line around the eye cuts, all contribute to his darling expression.
