[7-1]  28" Longface Jumeau (Triste) with the most endearing soulful expression. I have been very selective when it comes to Tristes; their faces vary a good deal. This is the face one looks for. Her clothes are vintage. She wears a fawn colored file dress, over a plum velveteen jacket with metallic braid trim. The lovely broach, nestled in the lace at the neckline, is her family heirloom. Her body is great condition, with old undies of course, and is still in its original finish. This little girl is one of the most beautiful and elegant examples of this much sought after mold.

[7-2]  26" Kammer and Reinhardt #122 in fabulous old clothes. This dimpled darling is surely wearing her Sunday best the dress beneath her beautiful coat is white lace, and the coat and hat appear to be a middle weight woven fabric with an Ermine collar which also trims her hat. Her bisque is perfect and exquisitely painted. Her blue eyes are surrounded by finely drawn lashes, evenly feathered brows and a tremble tongue with two teeth, and the obligatory dimpled chin she is wearing an old mohair wig. This is one happy little girl.

[7-3]  13" Outstanding #143 in fabulous original ethnic clothes. Blue printed lawn, with a wonderfully detailed bodice, precious lacy old undies, original, old shoes and socks. Perfect bisque, beautiful painting of her features and a darling body in its original finish. She is a spectacular example of her mold number.

[7-4]  18” SIE C LEVER EYED Bourgoin Steiner one of the most endearing of the Steiner faces, As the Steiner book states “she has an air of tranquility about her”. And this one is no exception. She has outstanding bisque and coloring and molding of the highest quality. She has an open mouth with 2 rows of tiny teeth. She even has her perfectly working, mama papa pull strings. She wears an exquisite pleated net dress over which is her elegant antique paisley wool coat. Absolutely stunning, old shoes and undies. She is a treasure.

[7-5]  11” extraordinarily adorable #221 Kestner Googly, out of my own collection. This little guy "is to die for" as my granddaughters would say. Original clothes, chubby side slant hips, flawless bisque and just precious.

[7-6]  12” adorable Tete Jumeau in spectacular antique clothes. This little treasure has fabulous bisque and coloring. Her blue eyes are ringed in closely painted eyelashes, and a fine black line around the socket, double layers of pleated lace form the skirt, over the pleated gauze bodice, embellished with ribbons. She wears a precious faux fur stole lined in red silk. Wonderful original very lacey undies , original old mohair wig, the tresses trailing down her back, and a fetching wired velvet chapeau.

[7-7]  16" Jumeau French Fashion with beautiful kid over wood body with bisque lower arms. The quality of painting of her features is superb the delicately drawn mouth, fingernails in pink artfully outlined, etc. She has tennon joints at the shoulders hips and knees and elbows. Her walking ensemble of mint green pleated sheer wool, has a second row of pleats on her petticoat that peep out from under the first. There are 3 rows of pale mint ribbon along the hem. with matching ribbon on her sleeves. Repeated on the lovely back interest of the costume tiny little antique oval buttons, and a hand crochet shawl, extravagant tasseled leather boots and velvet hat are the finishing touches. This doll has it all.

[7-8]  9” Rare incised WD, made by Wilheim Dehler for the French trade circa 1880's. (Scarce as the proverbial hens teeth), in outstanding original clothes. Gorgeous blue paperweight eyes, straight wristed adorable body, with jointed knees and flawless bisque.
